Deep red in colour with hints of garnet. Notes of ripe fruit, strawberry and blackberry jam, wrapped in notes of cocoa and tobacco that transform every sip into a sensory experience Full and harmonious on the palate with a caressing finale.
Primitivo lives up to its name: it is in fact the first grape to ripen and the only variety that so intensely transmits the cutting nature of Apulia. But there’s more: this Primitivo, pure or in “withered” version, where the grapes are left on the vine for much longer to concentrate the juice and obtain a wine at its very finest. The resulting flavour is an overwhelming sensory experience, thanks also to the months spent maturing in oak casks.
